L.E.P - Lumanoise V5
- Order number: 190320
Lumanoise V5 is a compact drone synthesizer based on a noise generator, a filter and a highly versatile audio input. Photocells are used for controlling the instrument.
The Lumanoise V5 is a compact drone synthesizer.
It features a white noise generator and an external audio input, with dedicated volume knobs. The mixer starts to saturate after half potentiometer range.
It is possible to connect the included solar panel to the audio input to amplify its sound. The solar panel is sensible to a wide range of light frequencies.
The sound is fed into a resonant low pass filter with a slope of -12dB. The filter cutoff frequency is controlled by the corresponding knob or the LDR CUT photo resistor, depending on the position of the LDR/POT switch. The RES potentiometer adjusts the resonance of the filter.
There is no power supply included in the delivery. You can find a suitable power supply here.

Tony Light and Peppo Lasagne have been behind the Milan-based Laboratorio Elettronico Popolare for quite a while now. Not only their small wooden boxes and unusual percussion modules are quite popular, the unusual LepLoop desktop synth has become part of Surgeon's sonic arsenal as of late.
