The pocket version of the Scion does exactly what its Eurorack predecessor does: biofeedback! This means that sensors convert the electrical impulses of plants, cacti, or fungi into control voltages. However, the pocket version adds a sound engine with 4 modes, capacitive touch pads, 5-note polyphony, MIDI, scales, ratcheting, and OSC data exchange!
The internal instruments are specially designed to work with plant-related control voltages and sound just as esoteric as their names suggest. The generated CVs can be sent via MIDI to any instrument, and with Open Sound Control (OSC) data exchange, integration into setups big or small is no problem.
A very exciting way to make music as a total beginner – or to add a touch of chlorophyll to a massive synth setup.
