Fred's Lab - Töörö

Quad multitimbral six-voice hybrid polysynth with versatile digital sound generation and analog filters inspired by classic wavetable synthesizers of the eighties.
Don't get fooled by the small footprint of Töörö. In spite of it's compact dimensions it has a lot under the hood. Sonically, the Kickstarter project of former Arturia and Waldorf developer Fréderic Meslin was inspired by digital-analog 80s hybrids a la PPG Wave, Waldorf Microwave, Prophet VS or Ensoniq ESQ1 and transports their sound essence into the present.
Behind each of the six voices are two versatile 12-bit digital oscillators with waveform morphing, Casio-inspired linear phase modulation and auto-sync/hard-sync features. Additional sound-shaping possibilities include a Korg-MS-10-inspired 12dB-Lowpassfilter with self-oscillation and saturation for each voice. Ring modulation, a digital shaper and two LFOs and AHDSR envelopes each with additional features are also on board of this "digilog" workhorse.
Things get rounded off by a timeless 12-bit digital delay and a syncable arpeggiator within the stereo signal path. Soundshaping can be performed via four durable encoders and a clearly arranged 5x4 matrix. The Töörö connects to your studio via a total of four audio outs, a MIDI-I/O and a USB port (for MIDI-USB and power supply). Highly recommended!
