Floating Knobs - Cuisine

Cook up something nice, with Floating Knobs Cuisine - your all in one kitchen for melodies, rhythms and modulations even without Eurorack!

Cuisine is a sequencer that, despite its distinctive appearance, is not just for Eurorack nerds! There are 12 channels in total, which can be freely assigned as pitch, gate or modulation. For Eurorack, you get 12 outputs, 4 of which are for CV and 8 for gates/triggers. Also included are pattern memory, generative modes, velocity, MIDI and a whole lot more!

Floating Points build their modules in Berlin and delivers this sequencer as a kick-off. The shape is not deceptive, as the device is designed for the Eurorack standard. Nevertheless, when you buy it, it comes as a standalone device for your desk, with its own power supply via USB!

Cuisine can become your main sequencer, more than capable of controlling an entire Eurorack system, "dawless setups" of multiple devices or anything really. 

There are 4 CV outputs and 8 gate outputs for this purpose. One possible application would be two CV/gate combinations for melody and pads, 6 trigger outputs for drums and 2 CV outputs for modulations. Of course, you could also use Cuisine as a modulation master and use all the outputs just for that. Your choice!

Floating Knobs has built in some great functions to make Cuisine suitable for live use and studio experimentation. In addition to scales, there is transposition and an "arpeggiator at the touch of a button" in performance mode. There is also a Euclidean mode and velocity dynamics!
