This special cable allows for using DC-coupled audio interfaces as CV outputs when used with software like Volta, Silent Way and similar.
The side which connects to the audio interface has a quarter-inch TRS (tip - ring - sleeve) jack, the CV-emitting side has a 3.5mm TS (tip - sleeve) jack. The use with DC-coupled interfaces is possible now by omitting the "ring" in between.
