The Organelle, a portable synthesizer, is back in an updated version with built-in speaker and microphone as well as battery power and MIDI jacks. It has also been upgraded with a fast processor, twice as much RAM, and an improved web interface for patch management and Link sessions. The Organelle is now more direct and portable than ever before. It combines playful and intuitive controls with a powerful and flexible sound engine. The Organelle M, smarter than ever!

The Organelle from Critter & Guitari is a portable synthesizer with 25 keys.

The new version can be powered by batteries and includes a speaker and a microphone so you can get started right away!

To control the parameters, the unit provides four knobs, a knob with pushbutton selection, a volume control and an OLED screen.

The strength of the Organelle is the ability to create sounds using all types of synthesis. A large selection of user patches is available for download on the Internet. New patches can be programmed in Pure Data. 

Thanks to the stereo audio input and the integrated microphone, sounds can be easily recorded and modified. For this purpose there are various guitar pedal style effects on board as well as unusual granular and spectral processing patches.

Beats can also be created with the Organelle. The keys are perfect for triggering samples and playing complete beats. You can also load generative rhythm patches that follow the tempo. Of course you can also record sounds directly and turn them into rhythms.
