Cre8audio - Assembler

The Cre8audio Assembler is a synth-friendly mixer built in collaboration with Pittsburgh Modular, aimed at delivering a “vintage-inspired” console sound.

Each of its ten inputs features a powerful preamp with up to 20x gain capability, offering everything from subtle clarity enhancements to more aggressive saturation. The custom analog circuits can apply tape-style saturation and soft compression across all channels, giving your mix that coveted warmth and cohesion of a bygone era.

At your disposal are three types of channels — two mono channels with "vintage" high/low EQ, four standard mono channels with pan controls, and two stereo channels. All channels include auxiliary sends for effects routing or for creating sub-mixes. There's also a nicely done headphone section that features a dedicated cue mix — a crucial element for anything live.

Assembler can function either as a standalone unit or as a 40hp Eurorack module, capable of handling both modular and line-level signals. For the experimental crowd, it can even self-oscillate without anything connected, becoming a feedback noise generator — great for no-input mixing.
