Arturia - Keystep

- Order number: 180510
The Keystep is a custom 32-slim-key keyboard with polyphonic sequencer. It features velocity and aftertouch, as well as an input for a sustain pedal. It provides different modes: arpeggiator mode, polyphonic sequencer mode and chord play mode. Thanks to USB, MIDI and CV/Gate outputs, it is possible to control various instruments, from soft synths to modular systems.
The Keystep features Arturia’s own Slimkey keyboard with velocity and aftertouch, balancing the best features of compact mini-keys with the musicality of full-sized keys into this new keyboard.
A capacitive-touch pitch bend and mod wheel are available.
The controller provides a new polyphonic step-sequencer with 8 programmable memories that you can recall at the turn of knob. Each sequence can have 64 steps and each step can have up to 8 notes.
It is possible to connect a sustain pedal thanks to the sustain pedal input. Alternatively there is an Hold button to activate the sustain.
The Keystep can be powered by USB or via a DC jack, for standalone operation. Thanks to the low power design, it can even be powered by an Appe iPad. If connected to a computer, the MCC editor (MIDI Control Center) allows to edit and control the parameters of the Keystep.
