Compact drum machine with analog sounds and a good step sequencer
Arturia's DrumBrute Impact is a compact drum machine with ten analog drum and percussion sounds, including a kick, two snares, toms, hi-hats, a cymbal, a cowbell, and an FM drum sound. There are dedicated controls for pretty much every sound-shaping parameter. The special “Color” function adds extra variation to the sound of individual instruments. The switchable distortion on the master output also adds even more punch.
The 64-step sequencer offers extensive possibilities for rhythm design. Patterns can be played live or programmed step by step, chained together, and modified using swing, random variations, polyrhythms, rolls, and step repeats.
The drum machine can be synchronized with synthesizers, modular systems, and DAWs via MIDI, USB, and clock. Separate outputs for kick, snare, hi-hat, and FM drum also allow for individual processing of these instruments.
