ADDAC120MHS Strings Monster Humbucker System — Large-Format Four-String Instrument with Motorized Playing
The ADDAC120MHS brings ADDAC's Four Strings concept into a large, metre-wide Monster frame, combining a conventional humbucker-style pickup with several ways of playing the strings mechanically. Unlike the Quadraphonic systems, the humbucker captures all four strings together, providing a single, guitar-like output for processing through your modular setup.
Four motorized plectrums can pluck the strings individually, while the Strings Mute provides automated damping. The Rotary Exciter uses a rotating magnetic field to sustain string vibrations without physical contact. Together, these modules let you combine manual playing with sequenced plucking and electronic excitation. The large frame offers extra freedom when positioning the different mechanisms along the strings.
Features:
- Complete large-format four-string electro-acoustic Eurorack instrument
- ADDAC901M 3U powered Monster frame (197 HP)

About the ADDAC 120-Series
The 120-Series brings real vibrating strings into Eurorack, crossing the worlds of modular synthesis and electro-acoustic instruments. Its four strings form a customizable instrument somewhere between a lap steel guitar, a zither and an automated string machine. The headstock and bridge form the foundation, while additional modules capture the sound, mechanically pluck or mute the strings, excite them magnetically, add frets or even turn the strings into a physical audio resonator. Combined with Eurorack sequencing, CV and effects, you can build anything from a manually played instrument to a fully automated string setup.
