ADDAC120QS Strings Quadraphonic System — Complete Four-String Instrument with Independent String Outputs
The ADDAC120QS combines physical string playing with the flexibility of four independent audio channels. Each string has its own pickup, preamplifier, volume control and output, allowing you to route them through different filters, effects or VCAs. A summed mono output is also available when you want to treat the instrument as a single sound source.
The system uses ADDAC's dedicated powered Strings Frame and includes motorized plectrums, a mechanical mute, a Rotary Exciter and an Ebow Slider. You can play the strings by hand, pluck them from a sequencer or use electromagnetic excitation for sustained notes. With individual access to all four strings, it's a particularly interesting configuration for anyone who likes to treat separate acoustic voices as independent parts of a patch.
Features:
- Complete four-string electro-acoustic Eurorack instrument
- ADDAC120F powered Strings Frame (122 HP)

About the ADDAC 120-Series
The 120-Series brings real vibrating strings into Eurorack, crossing the worlds of modular synthesis and electro-acoustic instruments. Its four strings form a customizable instrument somewhere between a lap steel guitar, a zither and an automated string machine. The headstock and bridge form the foundation, while additional modules capture the sound, mechanically pluck or mute the strings, excite them magnetically, add frets or even turn the strings into a physical audio resonator. Combined with Eurorack sequencing, CV and effects, you can build anything from a manually played instrument to a fully automated string setup.
