ADDAC120MQS Strings Monster Quadraphonic System — Large-Format Four-String Instrument with Independent Audio Outputs
The ADDAC120MQS is the largest quadraphonic configuration of ADDAC's Four Strings System, built into a metre-wide, powered Monster frame. With four separate pickups, each string has its own audio output, allowing you to process them individually with filters, effects or different signal chains. The larger frame also provides plenty of room to arrange the modules along the strings and experiment with different playing positions.
This is one of the most extensively equipped configurations in the series. Four motorized plectrums can pluck the strings via buttons, triggers or MIDI, while a servo-operated mute lets you control their damping. The Rotary Exciter sets the strings vibrating through a rotating magnetic field, and the Ebow Slider offers another way to sustain them. With independent audio channels and several ways of physically exciting the strings, there's plenty to explore here!

About the ADDAC 120-Series
The 120-Series brings real vibrating strings into Eurorack, crossing the worlds of modular synthesis and electro-acoustic instruments. Its four strings form a customizable instrument somewhere between a lap steel guitar, a zither and an automated string machine. The headstock and bridge form the foundation, while additional modules capture the sound, mechanically pluck or mute the strings, excite them magnetically, add frets or even turn the strings into a physical audio resonator. Combined with Eurorack sequencing, CV and effects, you can build anything from a manually played instrument to a fully automated string setup.
