The Syntonie VU001B is a quad amp that sends composite video signals to up to four monitors
The updated version of VU001 has the same features as the previous version but has a shallower depth and a simplified jumper configuration.
The internal sync signal is distributed to the four outputs within the module and passed to multiple monitors/recording devices or distributed across multiple modular systems. Since the rear RCA input is now buffered, there is no longer a sync termination jumper, a single jumper is used to either distribute the signal at the front RCA input to the 4 front RCA outputs and the rear RCA output or distribute the signal at the rear RCA input to the 4 front RCA outputs and the rear RCA output. Internal and external signal distribution can be set with jumpers.
