Modular sounds with a view - SchneidersLaden at the “Radio Weekender” at the Elbphilharmonie

On June 22, we headed north once again - to the Elbphilharmonie concert hall to be more precise! There we had the pleasure of being part of Derrick Gee's Radio Weekender, the brilliant final event of his residency. What awaited us: a colorful program around music - from classical music to record market to lecture concerts. And right in the middle of it all: our electronic playground with modular synthesizers to play with.

In a part of the Elphi that doesn't have a name yet (premiere!), visitors were able to discover six fully equipped modular systems - to patch, tweak, ask questions and simply try them out. So instead of a workshop: hands-on sound experience and the chance to have a spontaneous patch talk or two with our modular experts.

The Elbphilharmonie is deliberately opening up to a wider audience with formats like this - and we are pleased to be part of it. A space for diversity, experiments and new listening experiences - exactly what we want.

Thanks to Derrick Gee, the Elphi team and all the curious visitors - we had a great time!
