WMD Skorpion & Wavefolding – Workshop Video
On September 24, 2025, things got wild at SchneidersLaden’s showroom: William from WMD presented the brand-new Skorpion module – a powerful analog wavefolder developed over five years. With 8-stage wavefolding and a strong vector core, Skorpion offers a direct and engaging way to shape sound without screens or menus.
True to WMD’s reputation for quality, this may very well be the last wavefolder you’ll ever need. The workshop provided a deep dive into the art of wavefolding, modular sound design techniques, and featured a live performance showcasing Skorpion in action. For everyone interested in exploring wavefolding further – here’s the full recording of the evening.
William described the Scorpion as a work of art rather than an ordinary product design. That is one of the reasons why there will only be a single production run – it is a limited edition. If you want one, pre-order it now!
