The SS14 is a useful bidirectional 1 to 4 Sequential Switch with some special features.
The sequence length (1/2/3/4) is set by the largest O/I used and there is also the possibility to normalize the O/I sockets (1>2 / 2>3 / 3>4) with a jumper.
Most sequential switches sequence the possible steps in a fixed order, the SS14 brings additional randomization into play. The toggle switch determines whether the sequence loops from O/I 1 to the maximum step or is randomized within O/I 1 and the maximum step. In random mode, a random open/closed path is generated when using O/I 1 - if you choose a constant clock signal as an input here, for example, a constantly varying stream of triggers is generated from it.
