Variac is a distortion with variable headroom and adjustable timbre. This circuit board is a voltage controllable Colour CV for the "Colour Palette" Eurorack module by Black Market Modular.
Like every "Colour CV" also the Variac is voltage controllable. It features an input for simultaneous modulation of headroom and character.
Turning up the VCA will increase the level and for that reason also the amount of distorion. This can be modulated via the VCA CV input Use CTRL to change the timbre, which can be voltage controleld, too. CTRL can be assigned to input A or D.
