Vongon - Ultrasheer
- Order number: 230340
Wide reverbs combined with a pitch shifter - the sounds of Vongon's Ultrasheer pedal range from ancient cellars to outer space.
Vongon's pedals are dedicated to the soothing sounds of the past. Ultrasheer was inspired by the Lexicon 224 (the Plate algorithm, to be exact) and combines a stereo reverb with a pitch shifter. All this is based on a digital core that allows for pitch-shifting without reducing the sonic bandwidth. It is possible to turn on/off the vibrato (pitch shifter) and reverb individually. The parameters are kept simple. In the right part of the pedal are three pots for the adjustment of the reverb. A Dry/Wet Mix, Decay and a Brightness parameter, which low-pass-filters the feedback. There is also a switch that allows you to choose whether the reverb tail remains when the effect is deactivated. On the left, you find two pots for the pitch shifter. The rate of the modulation wave and the modulation depth. A sine wave and a random wave can be selected via a switch. The palette ranges from soft vibratos to wobbly tape. Finally, the routing is adjustable. Per switch, you choose between vibrato in reverb or reverb in vibrato.
Features:
- Stereo reverb and pitch shifter
- Digital design downsampled to 16-bit at output
- Pitch modulation of the feedback
- Two selectable routings
