Tubbutec - USB Bridge A
- Order number: 200309
- Depth: 25
With USB Bridge A you can connect two Midi USB devices to one classic Midi device.
The two USB sockets work bidirectionally and can be used as Midi input or Midi output depending on the configuration. In addition, there is a Midi jack input and a Midi jack output. You can merge two of the inputs and route them to one of the outputs and thus have the advantage to use two Midi controllers for one target device in an uncomplicated way. You can also use USB Bridge A as interface between modules with USB device input and for example classic midi keyboards. It is also a good way to increase the number of Midi I/O of your audio interface. Fortunately the module has an integrated DC/DC converter and does not need a power supply with a separate 5V rail.

USB Bridge A @Tubbutec
Berlin-based Tobias Münzer is the mastermind behind Tubbutec, who not only provides retro-fits for vintage synths (Roland Juno-6, SH-101, etc.), but impressed with his microtonal modular multitool µTune, which among other gazillion functions is capable of reading and writing Scala .scl files.
