Tiptop Audio - Vortex - ART Wavetable Oscillator

VORTEX is an ART dual wavetable oscillator that can be used to create polyphonic patches and multi-voice patches.

The harmonically rich sound is created with two 80's vintage D/A converters that feed your filters and effects processors. VORTEX comes with dozens of wavetables, and additional user wavetables can be loaded from the SD card on the front panel. A detune knob controls the second VCO and adds effects from deep phasing to a sub-octave. The position knob and CV input select the waves in the tables and the vibrato of the LFOs to create FM. As with other ART sound generators, a dedicated gate output controls the envelope of the voice or a modulation synchronized to that voice.
