Product information "The Harvestman - English Tear"
Owners of Korg MS-series units can eventually integrate their instrument with the Eurorack modular system beacuse the Harvestman module English Tear converts today´s 1V/oct voltage characteristic to Korg´s 1Hz/V and vice versa. Furthermore the module converts Moogs old S-Trig to normal V-Gate and also has two voltage processor channels.
The module consists of following sub-units:
- Processor A and B are used to manipulate voltages: they have an offset generator and a polarizer for attenuating/inverting the signal.
- Log converter: converts the characteristic of the input signal from 1V/octave to 1Hz/V. The channel is normalized to processor A.
- Expo converter: converts the characteristic of the input signal from 1Hz/V to 1V/octave. The channel is normalized to processor B.
- two trigger/gate converters: the first converts from V-Trig to S-Trig, the second from S-Trig to V-Trig.

Industrial Music Electronics
Starting in 2007 as "The Harvestman", Scott Jaeger suitably changed his company name to Industrial Music Electronics in 2015. Besides his collaboration with Vladimir Kuzmin to port the Polivoks into eurorack, all his modules are unapologetically digital and oozing character. Not for the faint of heart.
