A six-channel stereo mixer smaller than a deck of cards — and somehow it does everything. The TX-6 takes Teenage Engineering's obsession with miniaturization to its logical extreme: CNC aluminium body, custom-made faders and encoders, OLED display, and a feature set that has no business fitting in something this size. Six stereo inputs (twelve mono), three-band EQ and compressor per channel, eight built-in effects including reverb, chorus, delay, freeze, and filter. It sounds clean, it's built like a mini-tank, and it runs for eight hours on internal battery. Whether you're summing a table full of pocket operators, running a modular live set, or mixing field recordings on location — the TX-6 just handles it.

Beyond mixing, the TX-6 doubles as a 12-channel, 24-bit/48kHz USB-C audio interface for multitrack recording straight into your DAW. It also records directly to USB flash drive or SSD — 24-bit/48kHz stereo WAV, with armed recording that starts automatically on audio detect — so you don't even need a computer in the loop. There's an onboard synth and sequencer with four oscillator waveforms and four drum sounds, a sampler and looper mode, BLE MIDI for wireless control, external MIDI control of all TX-6 parameters for full remote operation, MFi compatibility for iOS, a dedicated DJ mode with crossfader, and scene save/recall. And Teenage Engineering keeps pushing it further — successive firmware updates have added beat tracking, user-configurable sequencer patterns with pattern chaining, link mode, and more. The feature list at this point is genuinely absurd for something this small.

This is Teenage Engineering at their most maximalist — packed into 62 × 90 × 23 mm and under 200 grams. For anyone who needs a full-featured mixer that can disappear into a jacket pocket — it's a masterful execution of form and function. Pretty ridiculous, how does it manage to do all of that?!
