An absolute granular powerhouse that leaves nothing to be desired: Tasty Chip's GR-MEGA is truly mega and can do even more than just granular!

Announced at Superbooth 2023, the GR-MEGA caused quite a few jaws to drop. After the already good GR-1, the big sibling will have more to offer in every way. Many things are improved and some are entirely new!
The GR-MEGA is a granular synthesizer that gives you direct control over all parameters. Create billowing and shimmering clouds or multi-layered walls of sound that are more reminiscent of a car crash than an instrument.

Unlike its predecessor, the top model from Tasty Chips Electronics comes with its own polyphonic sequencer, a phase vocoder and even a spectrograph! The latter allows you to transform only certain frequency ranges of your sound into grains to enable even more precise sound design.

But the MEGA version also offers some of the GR-1's functions in even better form! You now have 20 (instead of 11) voices, up to 5000 (instead of 1000) grains, 3-60 minute stereo(!) samples (instead of 2 minute mono), 5 different sample modes (instead of "just" one granular mode) and now there is a low-pass and high-pass filter on board. There is also a modulation matrix, some great effects and high-quality audio inputs and outputs. The 5 different modes now include a sampler, tape, granular slice and spectral mode in addition to the fantastic granular mode! This makes GR-MEGA a true sample workstation!

GR-MEGA is a versatile tool for giving your sounds a new look. Soft and cozy sound waves can be created just as well as rough and intricate noise landscapes.
