VU003B from Syntonie is a Component/YPbPr to 1V RGB Colorspace Converter.
The updated version of the VU003 in Eurorack format that converts SH/HD component (YPbPR) to 1V RGBY outputs. The Y signal is normalized to the processor input, which has an attenuator (contrast) and an offset (brightness). Plugging a cable into the processor input interrupts the normalization and allows another signal to be processed. The rear Y-pass-through RCA jack allows synchronization of the sync generator/encoder with the external video signal. Note: With the RCA cable plugged in, the total depth is about 70 mm. A right-angle cable is recommended for shallow Eurorack cases.
