Handmade electronic music synthesizer, effect pedal and noisebox for creating unique sounds and effects by intuitive handling. External Audio signals can beprocessed but the Cacophonator can be used as a standalone sonic generator. Six oscillators influencing each other take care of it.
The Cacophonator noir is a further development of the Cacophonator 2 with enhanced sound, expecially in the bass range.
The prevailing function of the circuit changes from a deterministic to stochastic mode, increasingly difficult to predict and complex in behavior. The power supply impedance can intentionally be increased and affects the degree of interaction.
Features: audio input with preamplifier, feedback knob, modswitch. All components are high quality to last forever.The unit operates on a 9V battery but can work with an external 9V DC power supply (not included).
Bypass switch with LED, pre amp with shiftable and controllable operating voltage. Four switches determine how the oscillators influence each other.
