Steady State Fate (SSF) - Ultra-Random Redux
- Order number: 240087
- Depth: 23
The Ultra Random Redux is the continuation of a Steady State Fate classic for random voltages.
The Ultra-Random Redux (URR) is an upgraded version of the beloved Ultra-Random Analog. Boasting enhanced sampling accuracy and extended sample holding time, this compact module offers three distinct output modes in the sample and hold section. Included are traditional bipolar output and full and half-wave rectified outputs. The addition of a dedicated Flux Trigger input and manual time constant control in the Random Flux section allows the Flux output to function as a fourth-stepped random voltage output.
URR ist based on Sample & Hold circuits and offers many ways to shape and change the generated voltages. Random Pulse provides you with randomized gate signals as well as noise. Linear Slew lets you slew the URRs own or external signals. The Random Sampling section is the aforementioned S&H circuit and outputs the voltage bipolar, full- and half-wave rectified. Random Flux is a gently fluctuating random voltage that is suitable for subtle modulations. You can use URR sections independently or inter-patched. Depnding on your desire fro a degree of Random. It does not have to be Ultra all the time. The range goes from from generating randomized gate signals and pseudo-random digitized noise in the Random Pulse section to manipulating external signals with the integrated and voltage-controlled linear slew generator. Unlike its name suggests, this module excels at moderate, fine-tuned Random. This module empowers users to craft intricate movements of any size and intensity with ease!

Steady State Fate (SSF) is the instrument design outlet of Andrew Morelli. Whereas the WMD/SSF product line features simple and small-format modules, his newly self-released modules are getting a very positive reception.
