Steady State Fate (SSF) - Muton

SSF Muton is a very compact eight channel VCA module with the ability to sum all eight channels. The eight linear discrete VCAs are DC coupled and have a soft mute function that can be activated at the touch of a button. This makes it possible to mute the channels without pops and clicks.

The SSF Muton has eight linear analog VCAs on only 10 HP. They have a subtle, warm character that sounds great with both analog and digital signals. The VCAs are DC coupled, so they can also be used with CV sources. Each channel can be muted at the touch of a button. Clicking noises, which can occur during switching, are eliminated with a special circuit. Each channel has its own output, but if there is no cable in the output socket of a channel, its output signal is summed with that of the next channel. Thanks to this system, it is possible to tap different mixes at the same time. This function makes the SSF Muton a very flexible (sub)mixer!
