SSL - SiX

The Solid State Logic SiX contains the essence of their larger consoles distilled into a small package. Here they’ve managed to merge high-end SSL quality with a compact design that features two mono mic/line channels that include DI, one-knob compression, two-band EQs, and balanced insert points. Add to that two stereo line channels, and you’ve got a versatile mixing console built with SSL's 'SuperAnalogue' circuitry for pristine audio fidelity.

Despite its compact form, the SiX is packed with features. You will find a two-knob version of the legendary G-Series Bus Compressor on the main mix – yes THAT bus compressor. You also get a a robust monitoring section with main and alternate speaker feeds. In total this package can handle up to 12 inputs for analog summing. This setup is great for small studios or for (relatively) portable live sound setups.

The SiX delivers professional quality. It is compact and in every aspect well-designed. However, note that it does not have an audio-interface integrated. So, unlike in case of the larger Big SiX, you will still need one to connect your DAW.
