Squarp - Hermod+

The Squarp Hermod+ is more than a revised version and now features 16 polyphonic sequencing tracks for CV/Gate, MIDI and Modulation.

The original functionality has been expanded and optimized in terms of workflows, and the makers also drew inspiration from the flagship model Hapax; for even more fun intuitive sequencing. In addition to a more generously sized OLED display, the recording resolution has been expanded to 96 ppqn and the workflows have been optimized, plus there are now eight additional MIDI tracks available in addition to the 8 CV gate tracks (which can also output MIDI) known from the original, for a total of 16 tracks to let you get creative.

Via MIDI connectivity (now via 3.5mm jacks) and the USB port, Hermod+ can control your synthesizer treasures, whether they are hardware or virtual in nature. The newly developed piano roll allows intuitive polyphonic editing for entering melodies, chords or rhythms via the 16 built-in pads. For CV/Gate applications 4 CV inputs (also usable as 2x CV+Gate) are waiting, via which Hermod+ can also be clocked to analog clock signals. The 8 CV/Gate output pairs known from the Hermod have been supplemented by selection buttons with colored feedback to visualize the status of the voices.

The proven functionality with four modes has been retained: Step mode is for entering and editing notes, while Effect mode activates up to eight real-time MIDI/CV effects per track (e.g. ARP, Chance, Delay, Euclid, LFO, Filter, Random, Swing, Scale) that are non-destructive. In Tracks-Mode you can activate or mute your tracks as a whole and in Seq-Mode you can further develop and finalize the stored sequences and layouts as overall musical designs. Hermod+ is your flexible and dynamic sequencer helper and breathes new life into even the dustiest arrangements in your studio.
