Qu-Bit Electronix - Synapse

Using Synapse, you can mix and route control voltages, chop up and combine waveforms or run audio material alternatingly through various filters and effects. – Either manually or automated. The module consists of four crossfader sections, which can be flexibly connected to various individual outputs as well as subgroups. Thanks to a memory system that can be modulated, complex to experimental, constantly changing signal chains can be created in just a few simple steps.
Synapse features four crossfader sections. Each of them is equipped with two signal inputs labeled A and B. Thanks to DC coupling, the sockets are equally suitable for audio material as well as control voltages. Potentiometers and CV inputs allow you to fade between input A and B. Results are emitted via four individual outputs, two subgroup connectors and a master socket. With the help of the Terminal encoder, you can determine which crossfader section is routed to this or that individual output. The wiring of the subgroups changes accordingly. Using the scatter button, it is possible to activate a random function. Eight configurations can be saved. An internal LFO allows you to crossfade between the memory slots. Thanks to control voltage inputs, external modulators can influence the module’s routing, its random function as well as the preset storage system and the LFO. By the way: Annoying clicks do not occur when changing the routing during operation. One input per crossfader section is normalized to a +5 V voltage source, meaning Synapse can also be used as a four-step sequencer or modulator.
