Eight-voice polyphonic touch synthesizer for Eurorack system and stand-alone use.
Plinky is a complete polyphonic synthesizer with sampler, sequencer, arpeggiator, effects, preset memory and a touch interface that can be used to set parameters and play the instrument. The module is just 24 HP wide and can be used on the go via USB power supply. Plinky has five CV inputs (four of which are for modulation and one for pitch information), a gate input and a clock input, as well as an audio input that is mixed with the synthesizer sound and can be routed into the effects. In addition to the stereo audio output for the sum, Plinky provides clock, trigger, pitch-high (highest note), pitch-low (lowest note) gate and analogue-pressure outputs for using the touch-surface signals with other modules. The internal sampler can record eight samples and play them in two modes.
