Pittsburgh Modular - Lifeforms Mod Tools
- Order number: 170024
- Depth: 37
Mod Tools is composed of a versatile function generator, analog logic circuits, a sample & hold stage, noise generator and LFO. A space-saving module, that enables the owner to do tons of interesting audio experiments.
The connectors and control elements of the Mod Tools are divided into four sections. At the top of the front panel, there is a function generator, which can be used as an envelope or LFO. Rise and fall are adjustable by potentiometers. Additionally, there is a CV connector with a bipolar attenuator, which influences both parameters. A sustain phase can be activated via a switch. Thanks to the function generator’s signal input, it is possible to employ the circuit as an envelope follower as well.
The analog logic stage can be used to mix two signals. Results are emitted via the mix socket. Furthermore, there is a circuit which determines the currently highest positive voltage from either of the signals. It can be tapped off the Or connector.
The third section of the Mod Tools module offers a Sample & Hold circuit with inputs for trigger signals and material to be processed. An output emits the results. Additionally, there is a noise generator.
Last but not least, Mod Tools comes equipped with an LFO. It features a frequency knob as well as sine and square outputs.
