The Lifeforms 2+2 Mixer is composed of four channels, which can be utilized as two small or one big summing tool. Alternatively, it is possible to employ individual signal paths as attenuators. The module is suitable for processing audio material as well as control voltages.
Each signal path of the 2+2 Mixer comes equipped with an input, a level potentiometer and an output. As long as the user doesn’t tap off material at the first channel, it gets mixed with the results of the second one. The same concept is used for signal path three and four. Additionally, the second channel gets normalized to the fourth one. Therefore, if there are no cables breaking the connection, the last signal path’s socket emits a mixture of all four channels.
