Physical Synthesis - Cicada Wood Soundboard

Physical Synthesis' Wood Soundboard senses the vibrations and pressure on its surface and converts them into audio or control voltages, which it then passes on to the PRE Pro.

Each of the soundboards has its own sound characteristic due to the clever choice of surfaces. In addition, the surfaces of the soundboards are acoustically shielded from their casing to keep the influence of ambient noise as low as possible - so club use would definitely be possible with this. The maple wood of the Wood Soundboard delivers a convincingly balanced and clear sound. It translates incoming audio very accurately and only adds slight overtones.

The Cicada Wood Soundboard cannot be used independently as a standalone unit and needs further components!
