Noise Engineering - Desmodus Versio
- Order number: 200150
- Depth: 39
The Desmodus Versio is Noise Engineering's long-anticipated take on a reverb. In fact, it's their first DSP module.
The stereo-in, stereo-out reverb algorithm is designed with lush textures and ambient, infinite spaces in mind, but small rooms and even delays can be simulated, too. There are three reverb modes: a normal, clean mode; a distorted mode; and an haunting, pitch-shifting shimmer mode. Desmodus Versio isn't just a reverb, though: it's a full DSP platform. The module is USB-flashable and more firmware options will be made available to users.

If you can get over the unpronounceable Latin names of their modules, Noise Engineering offers a wide catalog of often digitally-driven modules in a compact format. Basimilus Iteritas Alter is already a modern classic that covers all your bass and percussion needs. Noise Engineering are based in sunny Los Angeles, California.
