mki x es.EDU (Erica Synths) - EDU DIY Hi-Hat

- Order number: 230708
- Depth: 25
How about soldering your own 808-style hihat module? With the mki x es.EDU HiHats Kit this is no problem and easy to understand.
Erica Synths and Moritz Klein have developed a series of educational DIY kits under the brand name mki x es.EDU with one specific goal in mind: to teach people with little-to-no prior experience how to design analog synthesizer circuits from scratch. What you’ll find in the box is not simply meant to be soldered together and then disappear in your rack. Instead, they want to take you through the circuit design process step by step, explaining every choice they’ve made and how it impacts the finished module.
A classic sound of electronic music! You can solder the hihat from the Roland 808 yourself with this kit and also understand how the whole thing works. With an accent input and CV control of tune and decay, nothing stands in the way of diverse hi hats.
Please note: The do-it-yourself kit includes all the parts necessary to build this module. This is beginners kit, you need very few prior experience and basic hand tools (small screwdriver, soldering iron, etc.). We cannot assist with assembling/soldering the kit and take no responsibility if the kit does not work after self-assembly.
