Papomi is short for Panner Polarizer Mixer.
The mixer section consists of three inputs. Two of them have attenuators to attenuate or invert the input signal. The mixer input 3 is added to the sum in unity gain and the potentiometer on the right is a +/-10 volt offset generator, whose output is also added to the sum. The sum can be taken from the mixer output and is normalized to the panning/polarizer circuit. The latter also has a separate input so that mixer and polarizer can be used as separate circuits. The panning/polarizer circuit has a CV input with attenuator, a manual pannning/polarizing potentiometer and three outputs: The two outputs for the panned signal are highlighted in orange and the polarized signal is available at the center output socket. With Papomi, Metabolic Devices has come up with a truly excellent playmate for its new Moonwalker. Together, the two modules make up a fairly flexible little precision construction kit, with which experienced users can achieve desired results very quickly and those who like to experiment have a lot to explore.
