Malekko - Richter Anti-Oscillator
- Order number: 120812
- Depth: 25
The Anti-Oscillator is another module released in collaboration with Grant Richter from Wiard. This one is an analog VCO with waveshaping features.
There is each one control for adjusting the coarse and fine frequency.
The Anti-Oscillator can produce a triangle and a waveform called mayhem that can be shaped with the Init Wave control and the Wave Env CV input.
Besides an exponential FM input you can find a linear FM input. Both inputs have attenuators and are internally pre-patched to the mayhem output. This normalization cause some drastic effects and it can be broken by inserting a patchcord.

Anti Oscillator @Malekko
Joshua Holley and Paul Barker (former member of the band Ministry) started building guitar pedals on a kitchen table. At some point they moved to Portland and released some designs by Grant Richter from Wiard. Later on they were appointed by Japanese synth-giant Roland to help them engineer their port to eurorack of the 500-series. By now, Malekko is a very established name in the eurorack scene.
