A compact and sturdy featherweight – The Make Noise 7U case is made entirely out of steel. It comes equipped with two 3U rows of 104 HP each for installing modules. Additionally, there is a 1U row housing the CV Bus, a clever routing system for control voltages. A built-in preamp and an output section allow musicians to connect the 7U case to studio or live equipment without the need of an analog interface module. The implemented power supply is considered to be one of the best on the market.
The 7U Steel CV Bus Case is a lightweight, yet sturdy housing for Eurorack modules. It features rubber feet, a carrying handle and a lid. The latter protects modules not only from collisions, but from dust as well. The case can be transported with patch cables plugged into the modules. It meets airline requirements for carry-on baggage.
Inside the 7U Steel CV Bus Case, there is a reliable, shielded power supply, which can be used all over the world. It delivers up to 1.4 A at +12 V, 1 A at -12 V and 1 A at +5 V.
For connecting the case to the power grid, an external power brick is included in delivery.
The CV Bus comes with the following features:
- Pre-amp: 1/4" mono input, gain control, 3.5mm output
- Quad routing buss with color indication
- Output section: 2x 3.5 mm mono inputs (L normalized to R), level control, 1/4" TRS output.
Already interested in electronics at the early age of 12, Tony Rolando learned everything about circuits and musical instrument design by himself. He worked for Moog Music for a while and some sabbatical years, he founded Make Noise in 2008 in Asheville, North Carolina. By now, his reinterpretation of the Serge DUSG, Maths, is probably the most ubiquitous module in the eurorack universe ever. Make Noise continues to surprise with new and inspiring modules, including collaborations with Tom Erbe of Soundhack.
