Vessel is a modular case made from aluminum. It offers two rows of 104 HP each. A laboratory grade power supply is built-in. With two ampere on each the +12 V and the -12 V rail plus one ampere on the +5 V rail, the case is well prepared for lots of hungry modules. Two fans ensure that Vessel never gets too hot. Cinch connectors allow you to exchange video sync signals between several cases. Sockets for transmitting CV and gate signals according to the Doepfer standard are available as well.
The Vessel is made from powder-coated aluminum. It offers 208 HP of space. The case’s installation depth ranges between 3.1 and 6.3 centimeters. Side bumpers and feet are made of polyurethane. - Two ampere at -12 V
- One ampere at +5 V
Lars Larsen and Ed Leckie met each other in the synth DIY scene in 2008 and collaborated with the idea to release an affordable yet powerful modular video synthesizer. In 2015, they moved to Portland and by now they have the most extensive catalogue of video synthesis modules available. In case you are wondering, in their own words: "LZX is not an acronym. It is an alphabetical sequence with aesthetic merit."
