Arch is a nonlinear function module. It consists of an analog logic section as well as full wave rectification and gamma stages. Depending on the patch, you can, for example, generate ornaments or combine, split and bend existing forms with Arch. – A great source for new ideas!
Arch is composed of three nonlinear signal processors, in detail:
- Analog wideband logic section with two inputs and five outputs. – On binary level, only black and white exist. This circuit, however, processes the continuous grayscale range of analog signals to create organic combinations of images.
- Full wave rectifier and frequency doubler with one input and three outputs, in detail Mirror, Darks and Lights.
- Gamma processor with one input and two outputs. It adjusts the brightness of mid-gray level while keeping black and white points consistent. More precisely, a square function darkens grays while a log function brightens them.
