LZX Angles is a dual SD/HD ramp waveform generator and mixer with 24 outputs and fixed ratio.
Horizontal and vertical waveform generators are an essential part of most generative patches. For this reason, many patches feel trapped in a box, with the dimensions of shapes and patterns oriented at either 0 or 90 degrees. To synthesize visual elements with complex geometries, such as vanishing point illusions or polygons, one needs parallel access to separate angles with fixed ratios at independent outputs.
Angles provides ratio mixes from 0 to 345 degrees in 15-degree increments across 24 outputs - that's over 500 different alternatives to HV.
Lars Larsen and Ed Leckie met each other in the synth DIY scene in 2008 and collaborated with the idea to release an affordable yet powerful modular video synthesizer.
