LZX - Andor 1 Media Player
- Order number: 210201
LZX Andor 1 Media Player is a versatile standalone media player for video and digital art applications.
A video player that fulfills the wishes artists have always dreamed of! Whether it's seamless video loops, still images or other applications involving stages, video walls, signs, NFT displays, etc.: The Andor 1 Media Player requires only a single keystroke on a USB keyboard/remote control or MIDI keyboard to play media quickly and unerringly. With the simple, integrated playlist editor, sequences of several videos or images can be combined and played back via MIDI notes on a keyboard or remote control. A wide range of computer and TV monitor resolutions are also supported.
Several devices can even be cascaded to enable wireless playback of video files via several screens/playback devices. The medium with the file to be played back is connected via USB, the only configuration required is to ensure that the sync channels correspond, which is also the default setting. Dozens of channels are supported for synchronization in order to avoid interference with several synchronized installations at the same location.
Andor 1 was developed by programmer, video/digital artist and curator Paul Slocum. The multidisciplinary artist has over 10 years of experience presenting video and digital art in his "And/Or" gallery and for international galleries/museums.

Manual
Lars Larsen and Ed Leckie met each other in the synth DIY scene in 2008 and collaborated with the idea to release an affordable yet powerful modular video synthesizer. In 2015, they moved to Portland and by now they have the most extensive catalogue of video synthesis modules available. In case you are wondering, in their own words: "LZX is not an acronym. It is an alphabetical sequence with aesthetic merit."
