Analog through-zero oscillator with variable waveform and phase modulation.
T-Zed is based on the new SSI2130 IC and combines popular features like through-zero phase modulation and variable waveforms. This results in an easy to use but very variable sound generator which can also be used as an excellent low frequency modulation source. In parallel the following waveforms are available as taps: sine, triangle, sawtooth, square and the variable waveform (sine to triangle to sawtooth). Tune potentiometer is used to fine tune the frequency, this covers an octave. Freq potentiometer is used for coarse adjustment of frequency, it covers 10 octaves. The HI/LO switch can be used to switch the frequency range from 0.1 Hz - 22 Hz (LO) to 10 Hz - 10 kHz. On the input side there are modulation inputs for phase modulation and its index, the variable waveform and a hard sync input for synchronization to other oscillators.
