L.E.P - Rullo
- Order number: 220308
Rullo is the snare module from L.E.P.'s drum module series and just as naughty and weird as its siblings.
Rullo is the snare module from L.E.P.'s drum module series and just as naughty and weird as its siblings.
Rullo builds on the Cassa (bass drum) circuit and adds noise with decay. Voila: a snare drum.
Again, there are two trig inputs with mix poti, allowing for quickly setting two different accents as the strength of the trigger influences the excitation of the circuit. Decay determines the length of the Snare, Cutoff adjusts the attenuation of the noise, while Freq works on the pitch of the ping/click.
In terms of sound, Rullo fits seamlessly into the characteristics of the L.E.P. modules: simple to use, vintage-to-dirty and definitely not standard.

Tony Light and Peppo Lasagne have been behind the Milan-based Laboratorio Elettronico Popolare for quite a while now. Not only their small wooden boxes and unusual percussion modules are quite popular, the unusual LepLoop desktop synth has become part of Surgeon's sonic arsenal as of late.
