Lumanoise V3 is a compact drone synthesizer based on two sawtooth oscillators plus a noise generator and filter. Photocells are used for controlling the instrument.
Lumanoise V3 is a light-controlled drone synthesizer.
It features two sawtooth oscillators and a white noise generator, with an individual volume potentiometer for each sound source.
The Saw Master photocell allows to control the pitch. Additionally there is a switch which allows to select the pitch range (High, Med, Low). Furthermore a mini jack input allows to connect an external LDR, a potentiometer or a variable resistance to control the pitch.
The oscillators are fed into a resonant low pass filter with a slope of -12dB. The filter cutoff is controlled by the dedicated knob or using the LDR CUT photocell, depending on the position of the LDR/POT switch. The RES potentiometer adjusts the resonance of the filter.

Tony Light and Peppo Lasagne have been behind the Milan-based Laboratorio Elettronico Popolare for quite a while now. Not only their small wooden boxes and unusual percussion modules are quite popular, the unusual LepLoop desktop synth has become part of Surgeon's sonic arsenal as of late.
