Joranalogue - Orbit 3
- Order number: 210547
With Orbit 3 you get a special analog LFO/Osc with extreme frequency range and waveforms from "stable" to chaotic noises. Works phantastic as modulation AND sound source.
Orbit 3 is an analog chaotic/bi-stable oscillator based on a three-axis model of a Strange Attractor. The module can be used as a sound source or modulation source, exhibiting aperiodic dynamic behavior.
This model was and is a popular exercise for analog computers and in fact this type of modeling was essential for insights into the laws of chaotic behavior in dynamic processes - such as entropic diffusions of gases and weather phenomena.
The module has a very wide frequency spectrum and is equipped with controls and CV inputs for acting on the behavior of the attractor related to the equilibrium points and distribution (expansion of orbits). In addition, the module has one normal and one inverted output per axis and a gate output which is switched high when the attractor is in the positive part of the equilibrium.
