Hana Synth is a two-voice sound generator and drone machine based on Ray Wilson's WSG (Weird Sound Generator) from Music From Outer Space.
The look of Hana Synth is refreshingly different from the usual drone machines. Hana Synth has taken drone boxes out of the dark and dystopian corner and into the light. With its colorful appearance and floral patterns, you will surely get different inspiration and results than with the usual drone synthesizers that like to come across as very metallic, cryptic and dark. Where this is the black version for people that do not like the colourful variant!
Hana Synth has a two-voice design and features two audio rate oscillators, an LFO and a low-pass filter per voice. You can adjust the oscillator and LFO frequency, the modulation depth, the cutoff frequency of the low pass filter and the volume of the two voices. This makes it easy to crossfade between the two voices during a performance or recording. Expect powerful analog sounds with lots of potential for having a good time.
The Hana synth is powered from a 9V adapter or 9V battery and has a 6.35mm jack output for direct connection to a mixer or an amplifier.
Each voice contains:
- 2 audio rate oscillators
- 1 LFO oscillator
- 1 low pass filter
- LFO modulation depth control
- overall voice volume level
