Noise Random Tools 1U offers a whole slew of valuable utility circuits. The module features a clock respectively random pulse generator with adjustable rate, outputs for white and pink noise, a slew processor as well as a sample and hold respectively track and hold stage.
The pulse generator can emit clock or random signals. A potentiometer determines its rate. Results can be tapped off at the pulse connector. The output is normalized to the trigger input of the module’s sample and hold respectively track and hold circuit. Its mode of operation can be changed by a switch. Material for the scanning process gets fed to the module via a second input. As long as there’s no cable plugged in, the white noise generator is used as signal source. Additionally, there is an output for pink noise. The slew section is equipped with a signal input, a potentiometer for editing the rate as well as an output.

Danjel van Tijn started in eurorack with the Mind Meld, an expander for the Livewire Vulcan Modulator. Seeing the potential of eurorack, Danjiel quit his day job at a big corporation and founded Intellijel, which rapidly become a mainstay in the modular, with collaborations with Canadian fellow engineers such as: Cylonix, David G. Nixon or AAS (known for their physical modelling plug-ins). By now Intellijel has one of the most extensive catalogs in eurorack.
