Designed with careful attention to additional functionality, these two VCAs can also be configured as line-level boosters, crossfaders, ring modulators, mixers, and more. Using an included cable, multiple Amps modules can be linked together via 4-pin link connectors to form multiple configurations within more complex systems.
Amps has cascaded CV inputs and mix outputs that allow a range of flexible configurations.
A boost switch allows amplification of the VCA inputs by either +6 dB or +20 dB, ideal for low-amplitude signals or notchy distortion. Phase inversion of the second channel allows it to be used as a ring modulator. CV normalization with inversion and offset allow VC crossfader functionality.
